You could kinda say business has always been in my blood. I got my first taste when I was just a kid, excitedly running a kerbside car wash on the weekend and organising the “marketing materials” (think price tags, flyers and posters) for every garage sale my Mum decided to throw.

Honestly, my enthusiasm for business as a kid reached heights usually reserved for actual kid-activities like sport, climbing trees or arts and craft. Did I mention my car wash business had homemade business cards, professionally laminated with sticky tape? #therealdeal

When I was 8 , I saved up enough of my hard-earned carwash dollars to buy my first laptop - not bad for an eight year old! Little did I know this purchase would open the door to a passion that rivalled my love of business.

Ash Edwards

I became known as the friend that would always create a movie for a birthday or make videos for school events.

Why? Because it lit me up getting to watch the emotional
reactions people had to the content I made

(honestly, it’s still the favourite part of what I do!). 

From the moment I taught myself how to use Photoshop and Movie Maker, I was well and truly hooked on the creative life.

Looking back on these memories now, it was these moments that ignited the passion that would see me create InSeek Identity in the years to come.

When I left high school my passion for creativity and business continued to grow, fueled on by every out-of-the-box idea my corporate design job would shoot down. I knew that whatever direction I went in, I wanted to achieve one thing: to get people excited about their business.

In 2016, with years of design under my belt and a whole lot of confined creativity bubbling up to the surface, I started a business little me could be proud of — InSeek Identity.
